We believe that Salem's Carousel is a place for all to come to and feel welcomed and valued. To further this idea, starting February 2023, we will offer a Sensory Hour the first Monday of each month for the first hour of opening (10am-11am). During this hour, we will turn off the music (and shut off Carousel lights if requested) to provide a quiet and calming ride experience for guests with Autism or other sensory sensitivities. For a list of dates, visit our Carousel Cares page.
