All guests are asked to acknowledge all rules posted. If you have any questions or need any additional accommodations,
please ask one of our friendly staff or volunteers on duty to assist you.
People with physical disabilities are welcome to ride the carousel at no cost (go to Gift Gallery to pick up Complementary Pass).
Children under 42" tall must be accompanied by an adult (18 years or older).
There is a weight limit of 250 pounds per rider.
All riders are encouraged to wear the saddle belt for their safety. Saddle belts must be worn by all riders age 11 years old and under.
Please be mindful and use the stirrups when mounting the Carousel.
This ride is wheelchair accessible.
Clothing and footwear are required to ride.
Balloons, drinks or food items are not allowed on the carousel at any time.
For rider and operator safety, please:
NO Side saddle riding
NO Riding backwards
NO Double riding
NO Dismounting while the ride is in operation
Persons who are pregnant or have physical disabilities should evaluate this ride for potential risks before entering. Salem's Riverfront Carousel is not liable for consequences that may occur from riding the carousel.
Persons who are visibly ill or under the influence of drugs or alcohol are not permitted to ride. The operator has the right to refuse entrance to the carousel.
Riders must exit the carousel between each ride. One rider per token or ticket.
Walking on the ride platform while the ride is in motion is prohibited.
